From Rt. 1 North:
Take the “Metuchen” exit (right before
Rt. 287 entrance). Go over Rt. 1 and
keep going straight on Main Street,
about ½ a mile. WHW is located on the
right hand side, after the “Bulldog
Deli”. The house is gray with rose
trim, #224.
From Rt. 1 South:
Take the exit marked “Rt. 287 South/
Perth Amboy”. As you enter the ramp,
you will see a second exit for
“Metuchen/Rt.531” to your left. Follow
this ramp onto Main Street. Stay on
Main Street for about ½ a mile. WHW is
located on the right hand side, after
the “Bulldog Deli”. The house is gray
with rose trim, #224.
From Garden State Parkway South:
Take exit 131 and follow signs to
Metuchen. This puts you on Rt. 27
South. Go through several traffic
lights. Look for traffic light at Main
Street (Fire station will be on your
left) and make left onto Main Street.
Go through downtown Metuchen, under
train tracks, through 2 traffic lights.
After second light at Amboy Ave. WHW is
about 1 ½ blocks down on the left hand
side. The house is gray with rose
trimming, #224.
From Garden State Parkway North:
Take exit 129 immediately after the
Driscoll Bridge to Rt. 440/287 North
(follow the signs carefully, as the
ramps have several different exits).
Follow signs for Rt. 287 North and get
on Rt. 287 North. Take exit for Rt. 1
South, BUT STAY IN RIGHT LANE/RAMP, and
proceed as if you were getting off
towards “Rt. 287 South/Perth Amboy”. As
you enter this exit ramp you will see a
second exit/bearing right for
“Metuchen/Rt.531”. Follow that exit
onto Main Street. Stay on Main Street
for about ½ a mile. WHW is located on
the right hand side, after the “Bulldog
Deli”. The house is gray with rose
trimming, #224.
From Rt. 287 South:
Follow Rt. 287 South to Exit 3 “Rt.
501/New Durham Rd”. Turn left at the
traffic light at the end of exit ramp.
Follow New Durham Road for about ¾ mile
when it will bear to the left and change
into Middlesex Avenue(Rt.27 North).
Stay on Middlesex Ave. until you hit the
3rd traffic light at Main
Street. Make that right onto Main
Street. Go through downtown Metuchen,
under train tracks, through 2 traffic
lights. After second light at Amboy
Ave. WHW is about 1 ½ blocks down on the
left hand side. The house is gray with
rose trimming, #224.
From Rt. 27 North:
Follow Rt. 27 North through New
Brunswick, Highland Park and Edison.
Rt. 27 North will bear to the left when
you enter Metuchen. The first light
after that is Amboy Ave. where you will
need to make a right onto Amboy Ave. At
the next traffic light make a right onto
Main Street. WHW is about 1 ½ blocks
down on the left hand side. The house
is gray with rose trimming, #224.
From Rt. 27 South:
Follow Rt. 27 South through Rahway,
Colonia, Iselin and Edison. You will
pass Metropark Train Station on your
left. Continue towards Metuchen, going
through several traffic lights. Look
for traffic light at Main Street (Fire
station will be on your left) and make
left onto Main Street. Go through
downtown Metuchen, under train tracks,
through 2 traffic lights. After second
light at Amboy Ave. WHW is about 1 ½
blocks down on the left hand side. The
house is gray with rose trimming, #224.
From NJ Turnpike:
Get off at Exit 10. Follow the signs
for Rt. 287 North and then take the exit
for Rt. 1 South. Take exit for Rt. 1
South, BUT STAY IN RIGHT LANE/RAMP, and
proceed as if you were getting off
towards “Rt. 287 South/Perth Amboy”. As
you enter this exit ramp you will see a
