 Individual/Couple
and Family Therapy
WHW’s therapy programs
offer support to women of all ages,
including young girls and teens, facing
diverse issues and concerns. We serve
women experiencing the emotional pain
that comes from mental, physical or
sexual abuse; those affected by
alcoholism, drug addiction or sexual
 assault; and women in crises as a result
of a life transition, such as the loss
of a loved one, separation or divorce. WHW also serves women who desire to
improve their communication skills to
enhance their personal and/ or
professional lives. In therapy, couples
are taught communication skills in order
to achieve more satisfying
relationships. Women can bring in their
family members to receive assistance
with relationships. Family therapy
focuses on the interactions that may
contribute to the problem.
All WHW counselors are
highly-trained, experienced
professionals with varied areas of
expertise. The fee is $120 a session.
The initial intake fee is $150.
Women Helping Women accepts Medicare and
MHN, as well as all insurance policies
with out-of-network benefits. A sliding
Scale Fee program is available to those
who qualify |
